Claritin works fast especially the dissolvable ones. Zyrtec is my second choice but I take half a dose otherwise seems too strong. Benadryl gives me heart palpitations.

Do what you need to do, I understand because I have multiple drug allergies, (I don't mean street drugs, just medicines). I think people need to understand us, all of us with allergies are allergic to different things, not all the same...

Look after yourself,do you have to use an epi-pen? Maybe try an antihistamine before you venture out?
