Does Anyone Know What I Mean?
Hi, I have some major allergies, have to have gluten free and can't see a break in this? Is there any chance I can have pea protein? Where does it come from, can't have beans and pulses.
I have coeliac disease - allergy to gluten, wheat and have been okay with foods containing pea protein. That doesn't mean to say that you will be - we are all different. I would start by trying just a little of something with it in first, making sure that the food only contains other things that you know you are okay with. Don't forget that we are apparently only allergic to something that we have been exposed to so take it very slowly. Just a little then if no symptoms leave it a few days/week before trying again. Repeat the process and if you are okay then try a little more. Don't go full blown out though and eat a lot of it just in case.
Hi. I've been gluten free for over 10 years.GF Products on shelves have gotten a lot better and tastier. Depending on Grocery stores in your area they may mark on the price tag with GF. Always note the sell by date.
I usually google all my questionable ingredients and if you study the allergy category ie fish or citrus you can see without having to wait for a reply from your doctor.
I'm allergic mainly to foods. wheat dairy eggs citrus nuts and fish.
Be sure and check your medications with the Druggist
Oh you too, how do you add protein and taste to your food?
I can’t have beans either, but peas doesn’t bother me….
Great information thanks very much!
