My same allergies started 10 years ago, without any previous warning or reactions. I carry epi-pens plus albuterol and Benedryl. I have had food challenges- I flunked those challenges, so I can’t be tested again! I’m just soooooooo careful

I developed a shellfish allergy at 43 yes old. A year later I developed a peanut allergy. You can have a food allergy happen at any age… I was told not to eat tree nuts, and now coconut it’s a tree nut..it’s the protein in your blood… and then your body thinks it’s a foreign object and dangerous… that’s why your body reacts the way it does. A food allergy is a allergic disease ( atopic March)
