My doctor advised me that blood tests for allergies sometimes come back with false negative. Therefore, he advised a different method. He told me to totally eliminate one product from my diet for 2 weeks, checking labels and no cheating. Then reintroduce it. If you have a reaction, it's an allergy that you need to avoid.

JeanMarshallDorsey, I never thought of taking my medicine as being a cause of my negative results but it's quite possible. I do keep a food diary already due to another health issue. I will check into what family peanuts and strawberries belong to.

Research what family they're both from. Maybe it's the same, regardless avoid them. I'm eleven years allergic to artificial colors (dyes) and preservatives. Very few will recognize (3 allergists) that this is an actual metal allergy. Red-=rust oxides, Blue=aluminum paste. Inert/inactive foods and medicine. Long answer here and keep a DIARY! You may have tested negative because you took your medications? Again, avoid foods and families of foods they belong to. Ask family members if they have any intolerance as well. If later in life, there is absolutely a low chance you'd grow out of it. And this isn't a building of any tolerance. Blood labs are only of that exact date and time. (Negative to that too.) I have constantly asked for metal labs and get a three-headed look.

I didn't know about EOE. I think that I am now allergic to almonds and blueberries. I have been drinking unsweetened almond milk for years. I can't remember when it started, but after having my milk in the morning, I would get nauseated. I would also get nauseated and develop a headache if I had frozen blueberries. I have an epipen.
