It is when you develop an allergy to all mammal meats. It is caused by a tick bite. Beyond that not much is known.
It does happen. Not much is known about it yet.
I have not until I heard about it until one of the doctors that has come on the Good Morning America Show had them talking about it with other doctors and people who were on the show and I think they said it could happen because of the type of tick and maybe the time of year the person gets bitten.
