How Can I Avoid The Scent Of Corn By Gas And Stores? The Scent Of Fresh Popcorn From A Machine Is One My Biggest Nightmares And Iodized Salt
Lately I've had too many bad allergic reactios that made it necessary for me to use my Benadryl injections at least 3 times this week. How can we get corn labeled as an allergen? It's better if I didn't use steroids due to Lyme and co-infections. Now I'm on Benadryl 50 mg 24/7. My breathing gets effected and other parts of my body.
Corn allergy groups have been pushing for corn to be labeled for a very long time. The food industry lobbies are probably too strong to get that accomplished. After the pandemic, people won't notice as much if you walk around with an allergy mask or a N95 mask. That can help deal with smells people react to. Celtic sea salt and Himalayan salt are usually a good alternative to iodized salt. If you'd like an interesting alternative to popcorn, you might want to check if sorghum is a safe option with your allergies. Popped sorghum can make an effective alternative to popcorn.
Oh golly, corn is hard to avoid. I find this page helpful for knowing where it's located: https://cornallergygirl.com/2013/06/03/wheres-t...
This site has a lot of corn-free recipes: allergen-free-cuisine.blogspot.com
Other than that, I avoid places where there is too much car exhaust (i.e. no driving for long behind certain trucks), stores that are heavily scented (no Bed, Bath and Beyond for me), our old bank since they installed a popcorn machine, and chlorinated swimming pools.
