Thanks for your responses. It is not just milk, but cheeses, ice cream, etc. and other dairy products. I find that Lactaid helps me lead a normal life with dairy products. They come in tablets and chewables that you take before eating dairy and I recently found that it even helps when I take the Lactaid during and sometimes after eating dairy only because I forgot to take it before. Some restaurants put milk products into scrambled eggs. Now I have my Lactaid to take with me when traveling or going out for breakfast or want cream cheese or ice cream..

Maybe it is not the milk but rather something you add to the milk....or the type of milk?
